Indigenous Law in the Law School Curriculum (ongoing)

Funded by the University of Victoria Teaching and Learning Grant and the Murray and Anne Fraser Endowment

The purpose of this work is to support the redesign of law school curricula at the University of Victoria in response to TRC Call to Action #28 (which requires law schools to teach students about Indigenous law and legal perspectives). This initiative will offer: new teaching content, Indigenous legal examples that can be incorporated into existing law school classes, methodology training sessions, and opportunities for faculty members to work directly with ILRU staff and students to discuss the inclusion of this content.
